Oh my! August has turned out to be a very busy month. "Thank you" to all who came out for dinner and music last night at Selah Restaurant in Sturthers, Ohio, another sold out evening. Another big "thank you" to all the volunteers who worked at the book bag giveaway at the Covelli Center this morning. You guys rock!! Tomorrow we have Jammin For Jesus at Fairview Arts and Outreach Center on Youngstown-Poland Road (in case of rain we will be inside). Next Thursday Bob Noble will give a free concert at Mauthe Park. Every Tuesday evening we are doing a street outreach somewhere in the city of Youngstown. I did re-schedule the Burton Nursing home for August 27th.

Everyone who knows me knows that I love to sing outdoors. The warm months are my favorite time of the year to sing festivals, outdoor dinner venues and street outreaches. I believe there is music that can bring back good memories, give hope, bring you down from the ledges and just plain make you feel good. If you are out and about in the morning I will help kick off the start of the Youngstown State University Summer Festival of the Arts. I will be performing at the Fountain area of Kilcawley Center on campus at 11:00 am. This event showcases many artists and for a full schedule and map visit the website at www.ysu.edu/sfa.

For those who are more night owls, at 6:30 pm I will be performing for "dinner in the alley" at Selah Restaurant located in downtown Struthers, Ohio. Owners Brian Palumbo and Jeff Chann have a great summer line-up of music artists and food that brings in patrons from all over the country. Reservations are suggested. You may call 330-755-2759. For more information and a complete summer schedule visit their website at www.selahrestaurant.com.
