Oh my! August has turned out to be a very busy month. "Thank you" to all who came out for dinner and music last night at Selah Restaurant in Sturthers, Ohio, another sold out evening. Another big "thank you" to all the volunteers who worked at the book bag giveaway at the Covelli Center this morning. You guys rock!! Tomorrow we have Jammin For Jesus at Fairview Arts and Outreach Center on Youngstown-Poland Road (in case of rain we will be inside). Next Thursday Bob Noble will give a free concert at Mauthe Park. Every Tuesday evening we are doing a street outreach somewhere in the city of Youngstown. I did re-schedule the Burton Nursing home for August 27th.

Everyone who knows me knows that I love to sing outdoors. The warm months are my favorite time of the year to sing festivals, outdoor dinner venues and street outreaches. I believe there is music that can bring back good memories, give hope, bring you down from the ledges and just plain make you feel good. If you are out and about in the morning I will help kick off the start of the Youngstown State University Summer Festival of the Arts. I will be performing at the Fountain area of Kilcawley Center on campus at 11:00 am. This event showcases many artists and for a full schedule and map visit the website at www.ysu.edu/sfa.

For those who are more night owls, at 6:30 pm I will be performing for "dinner in the alley" at Selah Restaurant located in downtown Struthers, Ohio. Owners Brian Palumbo and Jeff Chann have a great summer line-up of music artists and food that brings in patrons from all over the country. Reservations are suggested. You may call 330-755-2759. For more information and a complete summer schedule visit their website at www.selahrestaurant.com.

Jazz - Pop - Adult Contemporary - Country - Motown - R&B

Summer has officially started and so have the summer outreaches in the cities of Youngstown and Campbell, Ohio. My days of singing on the streets started back with Bob Noble and The Lost Then Found travelling the east coast doing outreach concerts. I have been working locally with Pastor Cruz and The Jericho Project for a long time locally and look forward to these events. Regardless of what people may think we all need something to believe in. People still need to know that they can work toward peace, unity, and brotherly love. The past few years the city officials have even teamed up with us to help reduce crime in the city by having theses family friendly events. Working together as a team is not easy but it is necessary. We cherish the relationships that have been built out of need and desire to serve. Jericho, Mahoning Valley Teen Challenge, Now Youngstown, C.I.R.V., local churches, and social service agencies, "THANK YOU" for all you do to make these outreaches happen.

Below is the 2016 SUMMER SCHEDULE. If you would like to help, just show up and talk with anyone who has a "NOW YOUNGSTOWN" tee shirt on. Donations are always welcome :-)

Singing your favorite love song while you dine with wonderful food and great service.

I have been invited to once again perform at Selah Restaurant in downtown Struthers, Ohio. I absolutely love this place and one of my favorite things to do is sing outdoors. I know that's a little odd but I love it. When I sang at Selah last month we had people from as far as Pittsburgh and Cleveland! There were people there celebrating birthdays, anniversaries and even first dates. That put a smile on my face.
With the summer rolling by so quickly please take some time out to relax and treat yourself to a night out with great food, great atmosphere, great service and music.

Yep, it will be a very busy day! I will start out with outdoor music on the campus of Youngstown State University for the opening of the Summer Festival of the Arts. The performance will be a nice variety of music for everyone. Please see the full weekend event/activity schedule at www.ysu.edu/sfa.

At 2:00 I will take the main stage of the first annual Christian Summerfest at The Threshingfloor Ministry down in Lisbon, Ohio. The will have a variety of Christian music artist performing until 10 PM. This will be a music ministry of songs to uplift your spirit and heal your soul.

6:30 I will be on the outdoor stage of Selah restaurant in the alley for the first summer outdoor dinner event. The performance runs til 9:30 pm. Reservations are encouraged and you can order from the dinner menu. Started several years ago by owners Brian Palumbo and Jeff Chann, the "Alley Dinners" are a community favorite. Visit the website for the full entertainment schedule at www.selahrestaurant.com. I plan to take you through time with a little bit of music from each generation. Perhaps Brian will join me on a song or two!

I hope to see you at some point on Saturday :-)

The Humming birds are making their way back to Ohio and the gardens are waking up, oh I just love springtime. After a long cold winter it feels great to get outdoors and feel the warmth of the sun and a gentle breeze. Let me mention getting my hands in the garden dirt just releases so much stress. Yes, Spring is here!
February is the "Month of Romance" at Selah Restaurant in downtown Struthers, Ohio. Come join me on Friday February 13th for an evening of live music and elegant dining. Chefs Brian and Bernie have some special Valentine recipes they'll be sharing and I might even get Brian to sing a song or two with me!

Haven't posted in quite awhile. Last summer was super busy and it got more busy through the fall and winter. Not complaining at all. I have met some wonderful new friends, re-kindled old friendships, learned at lot of new music, and got a mandatory vacation in Maine. Life is full and God is good.

I am going to try posting the schedule a new way and see what happens (fingers crossed). YES!! IT WORKED!!!
Hope to see you all at some of the events. I will be posting the dates for the FINAL performances of "The Earth Trembled" soon. After a 20 year run we are going to move forward to a new level.

Summer is always a busy time as people get out the house an enjoy being outdoors. Beside being outdoors to enjoy working in my garden I absolutely love singing outside. I try to book as many outdoor events as I can in hopes that as I sing the wind will carry words of hope, inspiration, and happy times to the ears of those who need uplifted and a diversion from the daily grind. Below is the information on two upcoming featured events for the second weekend of July. Just wait til you see what I will post for the third weekend of July in the Warren area :-)

Excited to be a part of the community choir that will back up this wonderful Christian artist!

It's going to be a wonderful evening at Selah !
